OJT Course Introduction Video Preparation – Grade B

Self-Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is [Name]. I am currently learning and developing my skills in the IT field, and I joined Evision Technoserve to improve my technical knowledge and get practical exposure.

In this video, I would like to share my learning experience and the important things I have learned during my OJT training.

Course Overview

During my OJT training, I learned about different areas of IT that are important for technical support and infrastructure roles.

The main areas covered in my training were Computer Hardware, CompTIA Network+, Windows Administration, MS Outlook and Office 365, CCNA, and ITIL.

Each module helped me understand a different part of the IT environment and gave me a better idea of how these technologies are used in organisations.

Computer Hardware Fundamentals

I started with Computer Hardware Fundamentals, where I learned about the basic components of a computer system.

I learned about the CPU, RAM, motherboard, hard disk, SSD, power supply, BIOS and other peripheral devices.

I also learned how these components work together and how basic hardware problems can be identified and troubleshooted.

This module helped me build a good technical foundation before moving into other IT topics.

CompTIA Network+

After that, I learned the fundamentals of computer networking through CompTIA Network+.

I studied topics such as the OSI Model, TCP/IP, IP addressing, IPv4, IPv6, subnetting, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, TCP, and UDP.

I also learned basic network troubleshooting and how commands such as ping, tracert, ipconfig and nslookup can help identify connectivity problems.

These topics helped me understand how devices communicate and how network issues can be approached step by step.

Windows Administration

In Windows Administration, I learned how Windows systems are managed and supported in an organization.

I learned about user accounts, groups, Active Directory, Organizational Units, Group Policy, permissions, DNS, DHCP, and basic Windows Server administration.

I also learned how administrators manage users and systems and how they troubleshoot common Windows-related issues.

This module gave me a better understanding of how Windows is used in an organizational environment.

MS Outlook & Office 365

I also learned about MS Outlook and Office 365 and how these services are used for daily business communication and collaboration.

I learned about email management, calendars, meetings, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and basic mailbox-related concepts.

I also understood some common user problems and how basic troubleshooting can be performed.

This helped me understand how Microsoft 365 supports day-to-day office work.

CCNA – VLAN, VPN & Proxy

Another part of my training was CCNA, where I focused on important networking concepts such as VLAN, VPN, routing, switching, and proxy.

I learned how VLANs can be used to separate network traffic and how VPNs provide secure connectivity.

I also developed a basic understanding of how network traffic is managed and how connectivity problems can be checked.

The practical activities made these networking concepts easier for me to understand.

ITIL – Service Management

Along with technical skills, I also learned ITIL concepts related to professional IT service management.

I learned about Incident Management, Service Desk Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.

I understood how support tickets are handled, how issues are prioritized, when escalation is required, and why proper documentation and communication are important.

This helped me understand that good IT support is not only about solving a problem but also about following the right process.

My Learning & Confidence

Overall, this training has helped me improve both my technical knowledge and my confidence.

Earlier, I knew some IT concepts individually, but through this training I was able to understand how different areas of IT are connected with each other.

I am now more comfortable discussing technical topics, understanding basic troubleshooting scenarios, and approaching problems in a systematic way.

This experience is also helping me prepare myself for technical interviews and future IT opportunities.

Overall Feedback & Closing

Overall, my OJT experience with Evision Technoserve has been a valuable learning experience for me.

The combination of technical training, practical activities, troubleshooting, and IT service management has helped me develop a better understanding of the IT field.

I would like to thank my trainers and the Evision Technoserve team for their guidance and support throughout my training.

I am looking forward to applying what I have learned, continuing to improve my skills, and building my career in the IT industry.

Thank You!
